You can watch fishing boats come in after their haul known as Isla Blanca Park, on the south end of South Padre Island. Later the restaurant relocated to the north end of the Island on the bayside in 1988, they offered watersport rentals, outdoor dining, a full-service bar, and beautiful sunsets. Parrot Eyes made lifelong friends at that location for almost 20 years. Gabriella’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria

Welcoming, family-friendly restaurant offering Italian classics, brick-oven pizza. Many first time guests are at times in awe of the experience. From the smells of a kitchen like at Grandma’s house to the many different varieties of tap beer…. the openness of the kitchen, with the wood burning pizza oven in full view, and the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin or Louis Armstrong. Serving over 3500 guests per week. Dinner, Drinks, Late Night and some features are, delivery, takeout, outdoor seating, seating, waitstaff, parking available, television, highchairs available, wheelchair accessible, serves alcohol, full bar, accepts credit cards, table service.  Portions are generous. In a wicker basket lined with red cloth, warm slices of toasted, buttered bread are given to each side of the table. One of the pizzas here are, a Soprano pizza it is an eight inch pizza with six slices topped with pepperoni and salami, bell peppers, black olives, mushrooms and onion. All entries are served with house salad or garlic bread. There brick oven is fired solely by seasoned oak wood which makes the pizza crisp and have a woody flavor. Create your own fresh and delicious pizza with any of your choice of toppings. All the food is made from scratch, even the parmesan cheese on the Caesar salad was shredded off a block in house.Enjoy fresh made pizza anytime when you visit here. Different featured dinner specialty Monday-Friday-Prime Rib, Italian, Mexican, Seafood Buffet. Here they serve breakfast, Great coffee, a range of items from egg dishes hot cereal and juice. Fresh baked biscuits, and banana loaf. dinner has many items to choose from, and a full service bar. You can even get to go orders too to take to the beach. View from the dining room overlooks the pool and has a view of the gulf. They offer catering for birthdays, anniversary’s and business’s. Some features are takeout, seating, waitstaff, parking available, wheelchair accessible. There are palm trees all over the area, which gives a nice tropical feeling. Located in a covered deck of the Palms Resort, The Cafe on the Beach is a relaxing dining experience. Soak in beautiful vistas of the Gulf of Mexico and its amazing shore. Many have said that the business is now owned by the most kindhearted people and worked with the most amazing staff. While enjoying your meal you can also listen to live music while eating. They have a spectacular view during sunsets, daily specials, live music, and for it being right on the bay is great. With indoor and outdoor seating the sunsets amazing from both views. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with amazing features like, television, serves alcohol, full bar, free wifi, takeout, outdoor seating, seating, waitstaff, parking available, street parking, free off-Street Parking, Highchairs Available, Wheelchair Accessible, Wine and Beer. Also Here you will find mouthwatering eggs benedict, red snapper and fried prawns. This restaurant has good pancakes, cheesecakes and tiramisu listed on the menu. Pearl South Padre Beachside Bar & Grill is located in South Padre Island. They offer a variety of different dine in or carry out options such as, takeout, reservations, outdoor seating, seating, waitstaff, parking available, valet parking, television, highchairs available, wheelchair accessible. They are open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and even late night dinner. Featured here is a seafood buffet on Friday evenings, and the poolside Palapa Bar & Grill, which serves light fare for lunch and dinner and has a swim-up bar. Great assortment of seafood both raw and cooked along with wonderful salads. Choice of pasta or stir fry and other entrees. Go down and join the Chefs every Friday night for live action cooking from six to ten at night. After you enjoy your delicious meal leave some room for lots of cakes, chocolate strawberries, bananas foster and even bananas foster and cherries jubilee, also some are their deserts are served gluten free. With also twenty more selections to choose from. Karaoke nights are also held twice a week. Be sure to visit there with a huge appetite. There’s also a poolside bar and restaurant, Palapa, but it’s only open seasonally. Here they also offer special diets for certain needs, vegetarian friendly, vegan options, gluten free options. Small but full of local charm. They have good selection of food items on menu and daily specials. With a very friendly, accommodating and kind staff, this is a place you must visit while you are there.

Island Restaurants

Hello my name is, Kasey I am from Florida and coming in these posts will be a variety of many island restaurants. Many of some that are unknown, with a variety of tasty foods. The six places that you will see in my future posts are, Pearl South Padre- Beachside Bar & Grille, The Café On The Beach, Gabriella’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria, Windjammers Beachfront Cafe, Parrot Eyes and Barry’s International. Surrounded by water with no states in sight. Personally I have never visited any of the restaurants or the island that they are located on. I am going to be doing tons of research to give you guys all the information necessary about these restaurants. Each restaurant is unique and specializes in a certain type of food. Some have been around for forever and some are just now starting to open. All of the listed restaurants are located on Paradise Island. Kwon for its beautiful beaches, bird watching, shopping, fishing, boating and restaurants of course. Paradise Island is in between the Atlantic and Caribbean. The landscape is not only diverse, it’s also beautiful. Visiting these amazing restaurants will be such a site, so keep up with the posts coming soon you’ll love everything you see.
